Shaker Supper: October 16

The last Shaker Supper of the season is on October 16 and will be located in the dining room of the historic 1830 Brick Dwelling where the Shakers enjoyed their daily communal meals. Our very own Kathleen Lynch, Curator & Collections Director, will introduce artist Katie Rubright who will share her experience as artist-in-residence at the Village this summer.

Chef Peter Belmonte from Woodlife Kitchen will be preparing a Shaker inspired dinner featuring seasonal ingredients from our farm and local produce.

Menu for October 16:

Fall Salad:
Little leaf farm mixed field greens with dried cranberries, toasted
walnuts, crumbled goat cheese, pickled red onions tossed with Woodlife
Ranch smoked maple & cinnamon Balsamic vinaigrette

Entree:
Apple & Cheddar Stuffed Roasted free range Chicken Breast with
butternut squash puree, Brussel sprout & caramelized onion au gratin &
apple cider demi-glace

Dessert:
Braised Apple Tartlet, Vanilla Bourbon creme anglaise, whipped cream &
caramel sauce

Dinner starts at 6pm. Cash bar.
