Experience a special evening by joining us for an authentic Shaker inspired communal meal in the 1830 Brick Dwelling. Curator Kathleen Lynch will share the story of Mother Ann Lee, founding leader of the Shakers, and her contributions to the Shaker movement.

Woodlife Kitchen Chef Peter Belmonte prepares the supper based on recipes that originated at Hancock Shaker Village in the late 1800s and features many items raised on our farm.

Dinner Menu:

  • Baked porkchops with apples and sage.
  • Honey glazed baby carrots.
  • Sweet cream & scallion smashed red bliss potatoes.
  • Shaker Style buttermilk rolls and whipped butter.
  • Sister Mary’s favorite bread pudding.
  • Coffee and tea.

Vegetarian Option:

  • Wild mushroom and herb Rosti style potato cake atop sautéed spinach and shallots.
  • Honey glazed baby carrots.
  • Truffle scented mushroom Velouté.
