Elements of Harmony

Artist Kathy Greenwood has long been inspired by the Shakers’ approach to work as a devotional practice meant to yield harmony, connection to the divine, simplicity and superb craftsmanship. In this exhibition, rugs from Hancock’s extensive collection are featured alongside Greenwood’s textile sculptures, which were made with deep consideration of Shaker designs, techniques and materials.
