Shaker Dinner & Song

We make you “kindly welcome” in true Shaker fashion with this unique dining experience! This is followed by a bountiful four-course Shaker-inspired dinner, served family-style in the modern comfort of Community Hall, which opens with the singing of a Shaker grace and closes with music that illuminates Shaker beliefs and spirituality. Choice of two entrees. Arrangements for vegetarian and gluten-free dining are easily accommodated. Allow five hours. Historic Shaker Garden Tour

The Shakers invested great thought, time, and labor in their gardens. They were the first to package seeds, and well-known for their fine herbal remedies, as this two-hour tour reveals. Conducted by our Head of Historic Gardens, this superb overview of Shaker plantings in the medicinal and herb gardens, and heirloom-seed vegetable gardens, showcases the Shaker preoccupation with form and function, along with their desire to create a heaven on earth. Ample time to wander the gardens on your own. Includes general admission to the Village for the day. Groups of 15 to 30.  Available Memorial Day weekend to mid-October. $25 per person

Rates are subject to change. Driver and group leader are free for commercial tour groups. Tour leader is free for all other groups.
