Iconic modernist painter Charles Sheeler had an avid interest in Shaker design and incorporated Shaker furnishings and architecture into many of his works. Arrive to the Village early to view the newly installed Sheeler room in the Brick Dwelling, then join Curator Linda Johnson in Leander Community Hall for a talk about Sheeler and and what drew him to the Shakers. $20 ticket for talk includes admission to the Village; free to members.
