Celebrate the arrival of Sprin
g up close and personal in our orchard, then sample the fruits of your labor with a cider tasting. Join Matt Brogan and Kat Hand of Berkshire Cider Project and Keegan Schelling of Shaker Creek Farm in a demonstration of low-intervention pruning and sustainable growing practices for fruit trees, followed by cider tasting and light snacks. All participants will get into the trees of our historic orchard and help prepare them for the spring season. Most of the workshop will take place outdoors so dress for the weather–including layers, closed toed shoes and work gloves. Pruners and ladders will be provided. Bring water if desired.
