DESCRIPTION:Do you love fabric but don’t sew? Are you interested in a new take on holiday ornaments?  In this workshop you will learn to make a beautiful fabric ornament that requires no sewing–just a foam ball\, fabric and lots of straight pins. Several fabric color/pattern options will be available. \nNo experience needed\, although good fine motor skills in your fingers are important. Suitable for ages 14 and up. \nREGISTRATION FEE:   $40 ($36 for HSV members) Register here \nMATERIALS FEE:  $20 materials fee (cash or Venmo\, payable directly to the instructor) \nInstructor: A basket maker since 1995\, Sandy Salada weaves a variety of baskets\, including patterns of her own design\, patterns by other teachers\, and reproductions of cultural and historical baskets. Sandy teaches basket-weaving and other classes like this one in her home studio as well as at Shaker Heritage Society in Watervliet\, New York\, and at Hancock Shaker Village.

DESCRIPTION:Berkshire Museum’s popular winter exhibition comes to the historic grounds of Hancock Shaker Village\, with Festival of Trees: Barn To Be Wild!\nFriday\, Saturday\, Sundays from 11/21 to 12/28\nThe only Friday we are NOT open is 12/26\n \nCome explore the Village as you gaze upon beautifully decorated trees\, each ornamented by a different Berkshires-based organization or business designed around our theme. The theme\, Barn to be Wild\, celebrates this year’s unique partnership between Berkshire Museum and host site Hancock Shaker Village – the oldest working farm in the Berkshires and home to one of the region’s most iconic round stone barns!  \nTickets are $20. Children 12 and under are always free. Berkshire Museum and Hancock Shaker Village members are free! Other discounts and special offers can be found at hancockshakervillage.org. \nYou can learn more about this event at berkshiremuseum.org.  Please note that the Berkshire Museum is currently under renovation and not open to the public. \nPre-purchasing tickets is not required but encouraged.   Tickets can be exchanged for a different day but not refunded.   We reserve the right to cancel the event due to inclement weather and will do our best to communicate any such changes in the schedule.  In the case of a cancellation from Hancock Shaker Village\, we will offer tickets to be exchanged for different day or a refund. \nADMISSION IS FREE FOR MEMBERS!  \nTickets\n
